My husband and I have stayed at quite a few hotels in the area including the Best Western in Encinitas. We visit San Diego twice a year and we stay for a few weeks each time, and this is our absolute favorite hotel to stay in!

The location is great, but the best of all is that the hotel management as well as the house keeping personal are very friendly and accommodating - they make you feel at home. The rooms are always clean as well as the lobby and breakfast area. The parking lot is easy to get in and out of, and the surrounding neighborhood is very nice and safe.
Staying here was very nice. Rooms were up to date, clean and quiet.' Continental breakfast was more food than expected and presented well.
Very close to center of town, could easily walk there. Great friendly staff. Clean and neat hotel room. Very interesting area. Will definitely stay there again.
Comfy bed & updated rooms. Nice staff & good location. Good value, especially for that area! Pool is by the road, though so you may not want to hang out there. Instead, walk a couple of blocks to the beach.
